The summer collection 2019 by Balmain upsets our emotions. She asks us about our relationship to art. What if we were works of art ? The garment turns into brushes, in gouache. The body appears as a support , a new material where the colors waver and merge. The unexpected appears.
The human is an accessory. The material sublimates the body. The creative spirit is revealed. Porcelain sculptures, sometimes ebony moves. They oscillate and generate a supernatural perfume, ephemeral.
The nobility of the materials dazzles. The arrangement of shapes capture the senses.
Am I ready to become this clay both fragile and sensual ?
